William Spratling modernist abstract starfish necklace makes a bold statement. The starfish is from Spratling’s third design period from 1951-1967. It is based on the symbol used by the ancient Aztecs for the wind. Spratling based many of his designs on pre-Columbian motifs. This stunning chocker has been recreated with full attention to quality and detail by Gildardo Juarez, a master silversmith and instructor. This collar necklace may be worn with interchangable pendants for increased fashion mileage.
