Details: Brooch is 1 7/8 inches from mouth to tail tip and 1 1/2 inches high. Weight is 16 grams or 0.63 ounces. Markings are "Matl 980". The brooch is composed of fine .980 silver with a turquoise accent for the eye of the angel fish. The brooch is fastened with a tube and pin and is functional. This brooch would date from 1934 to 1948 before the Eagle marking system went into effect.
