This magnificent regal necklace was originally designed by the famed studio of Los Castillo in Taxco, Mexico. The design was inspired by pre-Columbian motifs and is a wonderful statement piece. Prior to the establishment of the Los Castillo studio in 1939, Antonio Castillo and brothers had apprenticed with William Spratling. The Los Castillo studio went on to become famous as well and has been featured in numerous museum exhibitions and publications.
