This vintage filigree sterling silver cross pendant was created in Iguala, Mexico. Iguala has a long history of jewelry fabrication predating the establishment of Taxco as a jewelry center in Mexico. Iguala jewelry designs are based upon traditional Mexican colonial motifs and frequently feature the art of filigree. All of the components of this cross pendant are fabricated by hand. The cross has a very elegant old world look.
