These exquisite and rare fine silver earrings were originally produced by Hector Aguilar of the Taller Borda in Taxco, Mexico during the golden age of silver jewelry production. These earrings have been reproduced by a master silversmith with full attention to detail and quality in fine .950 silver using the technique of repousse. Repousse jewelry is seldom produced today due to time and training requirements. These earrings are featured in the book “William Spratling and the Mexican Silver Renaissance” by Penny Morrill on page 165.
