Hector Aguilar Design Vintage Pre-Eagle Mexican Silver & Green Agate Bracelet by Unattributed Artist

The elegant and simple design of this vintage Mexican bracelet highlights the natural beauty of the moss green agate stones beautifully. This bracelet is pictured in the book “Silver Masters of Mexico” on page 19 and is attributed to Hector Aguilar. The care taken with the hinge work and the cleaness of the silver work framing the stones indicates this was made by a silversmith with a great deal of experience who most likely worked in the Hector Aguilar studio. This bracelet is a great example of 1940’s Mexican silverwork sold in the finer shops of the period.
