This bracelet is a vintage copy of a design which was created in the Fred Davis studio of Mexico City. Fred Davis was the first to design silver jewelry utilizing Mexican motifs for the tourist trade to Mexico in the 1920’s. Prior to 1948 when the Eagle hallmark system went into effect, it was common to have jewelry produced in Mexico without a particular hallmark assigned to a silversmith.
