Unattributed Artist Fine .980 Silver & Amethyst Vintage Taxco Cuff Bracelet Pre-Eagle

January 11, 2016 by

This vintage fine .980 silver & amethyst cuff bracelet from Taxco has a sleek and bold look. Ideal for someone who desires a cuff bracelet in a larger size. The rope trim surrounding the amethyst was frequently used in the jewelry from Taxco in the 1930’s. Early William Spratling jewelry utilized rope bezels for jewelry with stonework. The fine .980 silver was also a hallmark of the finer silversmiths of the era due to the resistance to tarnish and a whiter color.
