Rancho Alegre was in existance from 1956 until 1985 and served as an outlet for many of the top designers and silversmiths in Taxco. This necklace has been recreated by Maestro Jose Luis Flores who originally worked with Rancho Alegre with full attention to detail and quality. The mark of Sr. Jose Luis Flores is frequently seen on vintage Rancho Alegre pieces.

This pre-Columbian design featuring the plumed serpent diety Quetzalcoatl  was created in the famed studios of Rancho Alegre by head designer Miguel Garcia Martinez. Rancho Alegre was established in 1956 and continued operations until 1985. The shop was known as a premium venue for top designers and artisans in Taxco. The design features flawless technique and a striking design.
