These scallop shell earrings are an original creation from the studio of Maria Belen Nilson of Taxco, Mexico. Maria works with some of the top silversmiths in Taxco to create jewelry that is crafted with quality and attention to detail. The earrings have been crafted entirely by hand with the technique of repousse. Repousse is infrequently seen in today’s Taxco jewelry due to the technical training and time requirements to create jewelry with this techique. These earrings are great for everyday wear or wear them with the mermaid necklace for a dramatic ensemble.
