The earrings are of solid cast of fine silver from original molds used by Margot van Voorhies Carr who was one of the prominent designers during the golden age of Taxco. The suberb finish gives the fine silver a wonderful subtle glow. The earrings are curved and frame the face beautifully.

Margot de Taxco sterling silver earrings are produced from original molds under the supervision of Melesio Rodriguez who was factory foreman for Margot for 24 years. The earrings are true to the original design produced during Taxco’s golden age. Quality and finish work are fantastic. The dove motif is frequently seen in Mexican jewelry and is a colonial legacy from Spain. This stunning and dramatic bracelet is an adaptation of a design originally produced in the Margot de Taxco studio during the golden age of Taxco silver jewelry production. Margot van Voorhies Carr created all the designs for her studio and was inspired by pre-Columbian, Japanese and art deco motifs. This bracelet is cast of fine silver and is not hollow. The bracelet may be worn at the wrist bangle style or further up the forearm depending on your preference.

This bracelet is bold but has a feminine feel with the swirls and curves that were a hallmark of Margot de Taxco designs. Margot van Voorhies Carr was a prominent designer from the golden age of Taxco, Mexico silver jewelry production from the 1930’s through the 1970’s. This bracelet has been recreated under the supervision of Margot’s factory foreman, Melesio Rodriguez from orignal molds.
